The second meeting related to learning, teaching and training took place on May 31 – June 6, 2018. in Berkovitsy, Bulgaria. According to the current practice, the participants were officially welcomed by the Director and local authorities. Then we watched the artistic program and visited the school. Another item on the agenda was to present their schools and countries. In order to strengthen the team spirit and encourage students to further project activities, the participants also took part in integration activities. As part of the project’s objectives, students in international groups presented the scenarios they had brought with them, discussed the subject, place, characters and action. The next step was to choose one of the two scenarios on the basis of which the project teams will make their national film. In the further course of action, work was done on improving the dialogues so as to better convey the emotions of the characters and the message of the film. The participants also took part in the training on the sequence of shooting of individual scenes, the division of tasks in the production team, taking into account the roles of the producer, director, actors and camera operator. With the joint effort of the participants, short scripts about themselves were created. Students in multinational groups were assigned an appropriate role and based on invented scenarios, students shot short films. After watching them, the participants discussed the production process, their feelings about the entrusted role and the reception of the presented scenes.The hosts of the meeting also took care to introduce the socio-cultural context of their country. They prepared a tour of Berkovitsa (Ethnographic Museum, Ivan Vazov Museum, Nativity of the Virgin Church, UNICEF aid center, Klisursky Monastery) and the Boyana Films Studio in Sofia. In addition, throughout the week, participants were accompanied by meetings with music and Bulgarian national dishes, which were to strengthen the sense of multiculturalism of the participants.
At the end, all participants received certificates confirming their participation in the meeting. Thanks to the second exchange in Bulgaria, the participants consolidated the knowledge they had acquired so far, confronted it in practical group activities and expanded the information on
movie production theme. Thanks to the proposed activities, they experienced multiculturalism and belonging to Europe, and strengthened the sense of a common goal.
